It has always been our goal for a long time to collect a 50 inch Himalayan ibex with at least one of our clients. Although we have been hunting northern part of Pakistan nearly two decades now, unfortunately we failed to carry out this mission up to date. In our early years we did not even think of collecting a fifty incher because we always thought such an ibex was non exist. We were aware of the fact that SCI world record Himalayan ibex measured 51 inches but there was a considerable length difference with the ibex that ranked number 2 and three. So we figured that there was something wrong there. Besides none of our PHs had reported seeing an ibex that would be as big. But over the years we ran into a few pick up trophies in the area that were big enough to change our beliefs. We are convinced that one of those days we will get lucky and some of our clients will harvest ibex that will exceed 50 inch mark.
So far the biggest Himalayan ibex any of our clients collected measured 48 inches. This was only last year. It was a twelve year billy and only 2 inches short of our aim. But this past November (?) S. Gorb also shot a beautiful ibex that was only a shade under the previous one. So all these developments righteously makes us hopeful that we are getting close to our aim of many long years.

There may have been exceptions but Tur hunting in general is very tough. Particularly the Dagestan Tur. Any season...
