The month of July has a special meaning for the whole Mongolian nation. Naadam is a national festival celebrated every year -for centuries- from 11 to 13 July across Mongolia that focuses on three traditional "men's games" of wrestling, horse-racing and archery. The whole country focuses on these games during this period. But July is also the beginning of hunting season for both argali and ibex in Mongolia. For the hunters who enjoy experiencing different cultures this particular time of year can offer a lot. D.Herma wanted to take advantage of this opportunity with his family and friends. He hunted for Hangai argali and gazelle in the same area while his family toured the country. Drew joined his family for the touring after harvesting an outstanding ram and a gazelle.
